Halloween Themed Pop Up Class
Join us on Friday, October 28th from 5:30 - 7:30 pm at the Hampton Community Center as we explore bones, fangs and blood! There will also be fun games and amazing hands-on activities while we explore the creepiest parts of the body and how it work! Students will learn how to splint a broken bone, build blood “slime”, examine teeth, and more! The fee for this program is $45.00 per student. We are excited to announce we will be partnering with Little Medical School to offer TWO NEW PROGRAMS this Fall!
Little Medical School® brings medicine, science and the importance of health to children in an entertaining, exciting and fun way. Both programs aim to inspire children to aspire for careers in healthcare through demonstrations, crafts, and games! All programs are taught by a trained professional. Both programs will be held on Saturdays, at the Community Center, beginning October 29th - December 10th. Each child will receive a diploma as a graduate of Little Medical School upon completion, too!
Little Sports Medicine - will take place 10:00 am - 11:00 am and Little Equine Veterinarian will take place 11am - 12:30 pm.
The program fee for Little Sports Medicine is $130 and the program fee for Little Equine Veterinarian is $220.
These programs are designed for children ages 5 - 10. Registration fee is for all 6 classes and includes the cost of all supplies and materials! Interested in one or both classes? Click here to register! Registration is available September 19th for both Residents and Non-Residents!
Little Sports Medicine
Sports Medicine School Students will explore the roles of an athletic trainer and orthopedic surgeon and learn how to diagnose and treat common sports injuries such as sprains, strains, and athlete’s foot. These future healthcare professionals will explore the famous Tommy John (arm & elbow) surgery and make models of a hand, joint, and tendon.
Little Equine Veterinarian
Calling all horse lovers! Now students can learn all about horses and their care from the newest Little Medical School Equine program. Students will adopt and name their plush horse and learn the anatomy and maintenance of a horse. They will learn basic horse nutrition, riding styles, gaits and role-play key responsibilities of an equine veterinarian. Equine themed crafts/games along with a horse visit will also be included during the 6-week session!
