ALICE (Alert, Lockdown, Inform, Counter, Evacuate) training provides preparation and a plan for individuals and organizations on how to more proactively handle the threat of an aggressive intruder or an active shooter event. ALICE Training tactics have become the accepted response, versus the traditional “lockdown only” approach.
Protection and safety must be the priority in an Active Shooter event. Circumstantial and operational concerns vary in every new situation. ALICE Training provides options to address the unique challenges specific to K-12 schools, Healthcare Facilities, Higher Education, Businesses, Government, and Houses of Worship.
Hampton Township Police and the Hampton Township School District will be providing a FREE ALICE Training for all interested residents, business owners, citizens who attend places of worship within the township, and those employed within the Township of Hampton on Sunday, February 23, 2020 from 1 PM to 4 PM at the Hampton Community Center.
