
Trash and Recycle must be placed at the
curb before 6:00am, however trash is not to be put out prior to
6:00pm the night before and empty trash containers must be removed
by 6:00pm the day of pickup.
Complaints should be directed to
Waste Management at 1-800-458-4090. Non-resolved
problems should be directed to Susan Bernet at
412-486-0400 ext. 303. Any spillage by Waste Management vehicles
should also be reported to Susan Bernet immediately.
To schedule a special pick up for an
additional charge for items caused by repairs or
construction such as: paneling, plasterboard, commodes,
bathtubs (cast iron not included) kitchen cabinetry and floor tile
please call Waste Management at 1-800-458-4090.

Hampton Township Trash Removal Services
Trash Service is provided by Waste Management.
The service day for Hampton Township is Monday. For more information on Waste Management's rates and regulations for unlimited curb service for household trash and
recyclables, please click here.
Leaf pickups: Yard Waste will be picked up on a monthly basis, from March 15th through December 15th, one(1) day per residence each month as determined by
Waste Management. Items included are: Leaves, garden residue (no dirt attached) in paper biodegrdable bags, shrubbery, limbs, twigs, brush and tree trimmings cut in 4' length,
no larger than 3" diameter, no greater than 40 pounds securely tied and bundled. NO GRASS CLIPPINGS. Grass clippings may be put with your garbage on your garbage day.
Yard Waste pickup may be a different day than your garbage.
If you do not know your day of collection for Yard Waste, please call Waste Management for your calendar at 1-800-458-4090.
The following
items will not be accepted at the curb or at the landfill:
Paving materials, stones, rocks, sand, dirt, broken concrete, automobile
parts, lead acid batteries, sod, paint and stains, (paint cans containing
dried paint with lids removed may be placed at the curb with the
lid removed) flammable liquids, metal 55 gallon drums, grease drums,
pianos, spas, free liquids, pool chemicals, other chemicals, loose
needles, syringes and lancets, hot tubs, large screen televisions,
garage door openers, concrete wash tubs, water softeners that have
not been emptied of salt, guns, ammunition and explosives, bushes,
shrubs or other vegetation with earth or soil attached to the root
system, tree trunks, parts of tree trunks, or tree trunks that have
been cut into smaller pieces and waste resulting from a landlord?s
eviction of a tenant.
If you are moving, you will
need to contact Waste Management to inactivate or transfer your
service.
