Martha has been a Western PA resident all of her life. She and
her husband, Donald and children, Gregory and Jana have been residents
of Hampton since 1985.
She graduated from Penn State University with a B.S. in Individual
Family Studies. She continued her education at Indiana University.
Martha has taught at Monaca and Moon School Districts. Don and Martha
started Bakerstown then Glenshaw Feed and Garden Centers. Martha
was responsible for the book end of the business. They retired after
21 years in business. In 1997 they adopted four children from Poland,
Sara, Anna, Kathryn and Christopher.
Martha has been active in Rich-Mar Rotary, being their first woman
president. She has been involved in her church being a deacon, trustee,
Sunday school teacher and moderator of the women's association.
She currently is the president of the children's center which has
an enrollment of 240 students. Martha has been appointed as liaison
to Community Services - Parks and Recreation and Public Safety.
