  • What are the park rules and regulations?

    The Township of Hampton Department of Community Services maintains the Hampton Community Park which has 195 acres. The park is open to the public free of charge everyday sunrise to sunset. The park is open for full service May 1 - September 30. While enjoying the many opportunities the park has to offer, please be aware of the following regulations for park use:

    Pavilions are available for rental

    Overnight parking is prohibited

    Beer is permitted in the park with a permit

    Pets are not permitted in pavilions, athletic fields/courts, playgrounds, pool

    Dogs must be on a leash

    Motorized vehicles are not permitted off roadways and are to park in designated areas only

    Littering, dumping, firearms, hunting, and excessive noise are not permitted

    Charcoal use is restricted to barbecue grills, and no open fires are permitted

    Camping is prohibited except by permit

    Advertising flyers and signage are prohibited

    No swimming, wading, ice skating or boating permitted on any park pond

    Your observance of these rules will help to make the park a safe and enjoyable experience for all who visit. For more information about the Hampton Community Park and its use, contact the Department of Community Services between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, at 412-486-0400 ext. 329.
